Japan Redcross/AGM Fundraiser

The fundraiser for the Japanese Redcross this past weekend seemed like a huge success, especially for being so last minute. AGM did a wonderful job in setting up the warehouse and performances and also made the location extremely photographer friendly.

The Fashion shows we're also fantastic. AGM setup a beautiful runway with a white back drop, which was perfect to exaggerate the brilliant colors of the dresses and kimono's. (More photos here) I always wanted to try shooting in black and white, especially for runway shows because it's always reminded me of old school hollywood and Elizabeth Taylor-esque pictures.

The lolita fashion show was lots of fun as well. I'm not usually a fan of loli-style, but I think many of the pieces they brought to the walk-way were extremely in good taste. This duo shown above especially brought out the culture of lolita and modeling, showing great "attitude" and energy on the runway.
